Beroya Church History (BAC)

Our Church History (BAC) Beroya in Swahili language, in English is Berean which comes from the word Berea, Berea was a City in Macedonia where Apostle Paul established a Church during his second missionary journey. These people of Berea City (Berea Church in Acts) were known for their daily delight, desire and dedication in order to discover what God said in his Word were so. In 2012 August 28 being on vocation I and my wife Anna in One of the Hotel in Morogoro Tanzania, togather with Mr: Chikojo our former Church Secretary, God spoke to me about planting Berea Assemblies Church (BAC), that time I was a Province Bishop at Bethel Assemblies of God. In 2014 we established Berea Assemblies Church here in Tanzania, for the purpose of fulfilling a great commission to outreach Hamlets, Towns and Cities with the gospel of Jesus Christ, making them disciples and planting New Churches and Training Centers for Leaders and Pastors

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE CHURCH SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS

1. Teach the word of God to believers .

2. Providing services to the community .

3. To cooperate with the government in nation-building .

4. To preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and establishing churches .

5. To empower ministers academically to better fulfillments their call by God.

6. To provide a wide range of communication and media, such as radio, television .

7. To establish and conduct Bible colleges to provide education (Religious Theology) .

8. Establish and operate institutions of social services such as orphanages and homeless,education, and health projects .

9. To cooperate with other organizations, that their goals are similar to ours to serve the community in the spiritual and physical .

Tenets of Beroya Assemblies Church

inspiration of the Scriptures of both the Old Testament and the New Testament (2 Tim. 3: 15-17; 1 Th. 2:13; 2 Peter. 1: 2)
One God living and true: only one living God; who is in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; Lk. 3: 21-22.Kumb 6: 4
Fall of Man: Man was created in the image of God as holy. However, Man fell into sin. (Rom. 1: 26-27; 2:17; 3: 6; Rom. 5: 12-19)
The salvation of man: the only hope of the redemption of man through Jesus.
Baptism by immersion in water (Matthews 28:19, Mark.16:6; Acts.10: 47-48, Rom. 6: 4). The fruit of the vine is an example of our union as a church, and our relationship with Jesus Christ (2Peter 1: 4)
Holy Communion: Eucharist, which is the bread and fruit of the vine (2Pet.1: 4); (1Cor. 11:26)
The baptism in the Holy Spirit: All believers are supposed to have the right to receive the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1: 4, 8; 1 Corinthians 12: 1-31)
8. Evidence of Baptism in the Holy Spirit: Speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God granted a man to speak. (Acts 2: 4)
Sanctification: to be separated from the evil and dedication to God (Rum.12: 1-2, 1Thess. 5:23, Heb. 13:12; Hebrews 12: 12-14, 1 Pet. 1: 15-16).
The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine gifts for the fulfillment of his task (Ephesians 1: 22-23, 2:22, Hebrews 12:23)
Divine Healing is an integral part of the Gospel (Isaiah 53: 4-5, Matthews 8: 16-17, James 5: 14-16)
the resurrection and translation and of those who are asleep in Christ (1Thessalonians 4: 16-17, Romans 8 23, Tit 2:13, 1Corinthians.15: 51-52).
This rule of one thousand years will bring salvation to Israel as a nation (Eze.37: 21, 22: 8, Rom. 11: 26-27; Isaiah 11: 6-9, Psalm 72: 3-8, Micah 4: 3-4).
There will be a final judgment from which the wicked dead will be resurrected and judged according to their works; (Matthews 25:46, Mark 9: 43-48, Revelation 19: 20, 20: 11-15, 21: 8).
Like his promise, we look for new heavens and new earth where the right to sit in it, (2Peter. 3:13; Revelation 21:22).
